We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food for a small take-out restaurant. We were expecting the standard fare of Chinese take out food, heavy on soy sauce and dark in color for everything. To our amazement, the food looked like it was cooked at home (which is a good thing). No heavy and dark sauce. It was actually flavorful and delicious. We ordered stir fried vegetables with fresh garlic, and you could actually taste the garlic and the various vegetables. Most other places, you'll take soy sauce and salt, with something the texture of vegetables. The chow fun and lo mein we ordered were also cooked perfectly with a hint of sesame oil, the way it's supposed to be. The cashier and the lady that was cooking this particular day were very friendly and asked if we needed more rice. My wife is from Westfield, and she's actually never tried the place but it's definitely been around forever. This is surely our go-to place now for take out when we feel the need to order something quick.

Such amazing service! I called on a Sunday around 11:30am because I was frantically searching for chicken wings to bring to a party at around 12:30pm. The woman who works here was sooo kind and helpful. She gave me a great price and had everything done by 12:30pm and ready for me to pick up. The wings were cooked perfectly and super crispy on the outside. My friend & I also enjoyed 2 shrimp rolls which had big, juicy shrimps inside! Everything was delicious. Thank you for helping me on such short notice, you guys are amazing!!!
P.s this place is a super friendly and old school mom & pop owned Chinese restaurant. I support mom and pop shops.
I'm not from westfield, I'm actually from NYC but will definitely eat here again if I'm ever in town! -

i'm a vegan and my first order at a chinese restaurant to test the waters is COLD SESAME NOODLES and these were perfect! authentic handpulled chewy tasty noodles. the portion was huge and the sauce was sweet spicy peanutty not to thick and not to thin with lots of sesame seeds! i concur with the positive reviews that this senior asian couple must know what they are doing having been in westfield longer than any other in the area! next time i'll try the true test for me; GENERAL TAOS BEAN CURD!

Got really bad food poisoning. Wish i read these reviews prior and not listen to their sign that says 'best chinese in westfield'. I may never eat chinese again.
